Amdry 788 is a cobalt-based braze filler metal with a high melting temperature. It is appropiate for use on cobalt-based alloys and superalloys. It's sluggish flow allows it to be used in wide-gap applications. Joints exhibit excellent strength, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, with good ductility. Braze Amdry 788 in a vacuum furnace or a dry hydrogen atmosphere. Amdry 788 is available in powder and paste forms. Customized braze tape can be ordered on request.
