Amdry BRB is a nickel-based, diffusion braze alloy that can be used for restoration work on stainless steel or superalloy components. Brittle phases are minimized when the boron is diffused out of the joint, leaving a more ductile, machinable deposit. Amdry BRB can be blended with a compatible superalloy filler powder when needed to repair very wide gaps. Joints provide good ductility and oxidation resistance with excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Braze Amdry BRB in a vacuum furnace.
