Amdry 718B is a nickel-based braze filler metal with boron as a temperature suppressant. It produces joints with excellent strength, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. It is appropriate for wide gap applications. It is an excellent choice for repair brazing of Inconel or other nickel-based superalloy components. Vacuum braze or a braze in a dry hydrogen atmosphere. Amdry 718B is available as a powder, but may be purchased in paste or customized tape upon request.
