Amdry 770 is a nickel-based braze filler metal with a composition equivalent to AWS BNi-2 and AMS 4777 (grade 140F). Joints of Amdy 770 have excellent corrosion resistance and strength, with good ductility and oxidation resistance. Use Amdry 770 for medium size gaps where the joint depth is not extemely deep. Braze Amdry 770 in vacuum furnaces or furnaces or atmospheres of argon or dry hydrogen. It is available in powder and paste forms and may be ordered as a customized tape on request.
