Amdry 7701 is a nickel-based braze filler metal with a composition equivalent to AWS BNi-2 and AMS 4777 (grade 140C). Joints of Amdy 7701 have excellent corrosion resistance and strength, with good ductility and oxidation resistance. Use Amdry 7701 for medium size gaps where the joint depth is not extemely deep. Braze Amdry 7701 in vacuum furnaces or furnaces or atmospheres of argon or dry hydrogen. It is available as a powder. It can be ordered as a paste or customized tape on request.
