Amdry 7804 is a nickel-based, chromium-free, braze filler metal with a tightly controlled composition that meets of AWS BNi-3 and AMS 4778 (grade 140F). Its relatively low melting temperature makes it good candidate when a lower braze temperature is needed. Excellent ductility makes it a good choice for applications that undergo stress in service. Braze in vacuum, argon or dry hydrogen atmospheres. Amdry 7804 is available as a powder. It is available as a paste or customized tape on request.
