Amdry 790 is a nickel-based braze filler metal with a composition that meets AWS BNi-4 and AMS 4779 (grade 140F). Joints have excellent ductility with good strength, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. Its sluggish flow allows it to fill wider gaps. Its low diffusion characteristics makes it a good choice for thin-walled components. Braze Amdry 790 in vacuum, argon or dry hydrogen atmospheres. It is available in powder and paste forms. Customized tape is available on request.
