Amdry 795A is a nickel-based braze filler metal that produces very high strength joints — particularly burst strength — and excellent corrosion resistance. It can be used to join most types of steels, including stainless steels, as well as nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys. Brazing in a vacuum or dry hydrogen atmosphere is recommended. It is free-flowing, making it appropriate for thin gaps. It is available as a powder. Braze paste and customized tape is available on request.
