Amdry 915 is a nickel-based braze filler metal that responds well to post-braze diffusion heat treatment. The boron in Amdry 915 diffuses out of the braze joint reducing intermetallic formation while increasing service temperature and corrosion resistance. Use it with many types of steels and nickel-based superalloy substrates. Braze Amdry 915 in vacuum, argon or dry hydrogen atmospheres. Joints offer excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, excellent strength and very good ductility.
