Woka 50005 is fused and crushed tungsten carbide designed to be the hard phase constituent of a wear-resistant surface that is blended with the customer's self-fluxing alloy or used as filler material for rods, wires, electrodes applications. Overlays containing Woka 50005 have excellent abrasive resistance in harsh environments and can tolerate some impact stress. Woka 50005 is recommended for application using laser cladding or spray and fuse welding, and acceptable for PTA.
